During January, the Little Language team had the most amazing time hosting 2 school readiness workshops in the year of 2022!

We were able to simulate a school environment to prepare children for the commencement of school this year. 

​

Children were given opportunities to work in groups to develop their social skills and team working skills. Group work involved Lego Therapy, which was a fantastic method of developing language. Tracing and Colouring activities to develop print/alphabet knowledge, and develop confidence when talking in front of others. And Reading activities to develop inference skills, story retell skills and phonological awareness.

This was a fun, safe environment for the children to become familiar with the school environment.

We are so pleased we were able to run this workshop and help these children find their ROAR!
